Stillness in the air. Hammock moves to slow rhythm of the wind. The afternoon is luminous with possibilities. But I feel immobile, under the weight of solitude, a crushing memory. The beach is a sanctuary. I want to escape... I want to forget... What it is only I and the silence knows...

I can be in this quiet place forever. I scanned the landscape, admiring the majesty of the sea. Nothing like pure tropical bliss to salve a wounded memory. Time seems to stop. A soft wind runs through my face...

Then someone arrives. Sadness and beauty... Sky and sea... The blueness frames his aura...

Warm sunlight on his face. Eyes scanning the emerald distance...

The beach is a sanctuary but bitter memories knows no boundaries and geographies. He, too, wants to escape. He, too, wants to forget. What it is only him and the silence knows. Splurging in the beach, yes, but he fears the coolness of the water may revoke the chill of the past. His eyes continue to wander...

He decides to take a stroll. He saw a tear in my eye. Our eyes finally meet. No words are spoken. An uneasy silence hangs in the air between us...

He asked why. I just smiled. A few words are exchanged. He tells his story. I told mine. We found out we are the same. Words are finally exhausted. We kissed. It has been a lovely night. Our bodies glistened. Whispher of daybreak, teetering on the edge of silence and the sea...

I just gave my mom tons of her pictures na in-effort ko sa work, at isang red ribbon black forest cake na paborito niya, together with a card. Although late ko na siya nabigay dahil wala na akong pera nung araw mismo nang celebration. Hehe. Okay lang naman sa mom ko, at least I did not forget to remember.

I've heard some buzz about this movie and I didn't mind it. For me, it was just another sensationalized indie movie because of its theme. And in my mind, I said, sige, hintayin ko na lang kung magkakaroon nang video nito.

Then one afternoon after work, sobrang nagutom ako kaya dumaan ako sa Festival Mall to buy some food at Wendy's. For some reason, nag-crave ako sa burger nila. While 'm on my way there, napadaan ako sa video store and saw this movie. Nagulat ako at may video na siya. So I immediately bought it so I'll have my chance to criticize the senstaionalized movie.

Pagdating sa house, since di pa ako inaantok at maaga pa naman, pinanood ko siya kahit binalak kong sa weekend na panoorin. Sa laptop ko na lang pinanood at tinatamad na ako magset-up nang TV ko. Umpisa pa lang, di man super catchy, I felt na kuha na agad ang atensyon ko at mukhang tatapusin ko siya. It's the kind of indie movie kasi na sa simula pa lang, alam mo nang may sense. So, sige, na-stuck na ako.

All-in-all, na-enjoy ko siya. The story, the acting, the plotting. Sobrang galing. May sense siya. Even the censored part, may sense. Na kung ikaw yung viewer na yun lang ang pakay mo sa movie, matetempt kang wag nang pansinin yung story. But again, I want to give a credit to the director and story writer. Galing!!!

However, may shocking revelation lang. Dahil kilala ko yung isang artista sa movie. At di lang siya basta kilala. May nangyari rin sa amin in the past. At di lang siya simpleng "pangyayari". May naexperience ako sa kanya na "first" kaya di ko siya makakalimutan. Although, no relationship naman ang drama namin kaya walang emotional involvement. Na-shock lang ako to see him in the movie and doing such things na kina-shock ko talaga. Hehe.

Anyways, maliit talaga ang mundo. Dapat di na ako nagugulat. Well, kung alam ko lang na kasali siya sa movie na yun, nanghingi sana ako nang free passess sa premiere nang movie nila. Hehe. Joke lang. well, that's it for this movie.

Since gabi na nang nakauwi si Jay nung Thursday night, and he wasn't able to check Thokie the next day dahil pumunta kami nang Gallera, at gabi na din kami nakauwi from that trip nang Saturday, Sunday morning na nakita ni Jay si Thokie. It was a cute first meeting for Jay and Thokie.

Tuwang tuwa silang dalawa sa pagkikita nila. When Jay saw Thokie sa kulungan niya, gusto na niya agad ilabas kahit di pa naliligo yung aso.

Hinayaan ko na. Inilabas na niya at gustong paliguan agad so they can play together. For some reason, di nangilala si Thokie na parang may instant connection na agad sila ni Jay. Naks! May ganun! Hehe.

Pagkatapos paliguan ni Jay si Thokie at patuyuin, they started playing and di na sila mapaghiwalay. Here are their bed pics together:

Ang cute nung mag-ama noh. Hehe. Siyempre, di ko sila ini-spoil at nadeadma na ako sa tabi. Hehe. Pinagbihis ko na si Jay at may appointment si Thokie sa Veterinarian niya. Dinala namin siya sa clinic for his 2nd set of dog shots (na napakagastos).

Nakakatuwa si Thokie dahil pagdating sa clinic, ang daming dogs na maingay. Siya, behave lang. Pagdating nang doctor niya, sinerve na agad yung mga shots niya. As usual, behave pa rin at hindi maingay ang dog ko, which I am very proud. Hehe.

After the medication, buying Thokie's food and vitamins, umalis na agad kami. Baka matempt akong bumili nang kung ano ano for Thokie.

Umalis na rin si Jay at umuwi na after. It was time for Jay and Thokie to say goodbye to each other for the meantime. Till dad's next visit to his baby. Hehe. For Thokie and I, uwian na.....

Jay went to visit me in my mouse Thursday night and to spend the night there with me. The original plan was to go to Gallera the next day. However, with him is his bad news that pushed us to cancel the plan. So I texted Hazel agad na cancel na ang plano dahil excited pa naman itong kaibigan ko about the trip.

Sa SM Muntinlupa kami nagkita to have a dinner dahil ang ulam sa bahay ay Pork Adobo, which I am sure na di kakainin nang asawa ko. So nag-Mang Inasal kami and there we discussed why we have to cancel our trip. Naintindihan ko naman kaya okay lang sa akin. Then after dinner, he wanted to go to his kababayan na malapit lang sa village namin. Pumunta kami doon after namin kumain. And nakakatuwa dahil yung house nang kakilala niya ay katabi lang nang house nang old friend ko. Small world talaga. There, nagkuwentuhan lang sila while I watched the American Idol na kasalukuyang palabas sa T.V. nila. Di ko sila maintindihan kasi coz' they are using their dialect. Hehe. After, we went home na.

It was our bonding time. Kuwentuhan. Harutan. Wala lang, spending the night with each other lang. Inside of me, kahit naiintindihan ko na why we need to cancel our Gallera plan, gusto ko pa din pumunta. Feeling ko kasi, it was the right time to go there. Actually, nag-isip pa nga ako nang alternative dahil wala kaming gagawin sa house in his 3 days 2 nights visit sa akin. Pero di ko na inentertain yung mga thoughts, natulog na lang kami.

The next day, nagising kami nang maaga. Ay mali, ako pala. Siya, antok pa. Hehe. Pinakain ko na si Thokie. Gusto ko din paliguan na, pero naisip kong dalawa kaming magpaligo. So I went back to the room to ask him, kaso ako ang nahila sa kama. Hehe. Niyakap na ako at tinali na nang malalaki niyang braso. So, sige, fine, higa na lang ulit at hintayin siyang magising.

When my mom called us na for breakfast, bumangon na kami. After eating, eto ang nakakatuwa. Bigla naming napagkasunduan na tumuloy na nang Gallera kahit overnight lang at di na 3 days 2 nights. Whapak!!! Siyempre, nataranta ako. Bigla kaming nag-ayos nang gamit. Isinama ko na din kapatid ko. Pinag-ayos ko siya kahit tulog pa. Hehe. At tinawagan ko ang bestfriend ko at pinuwersang sumama. Sobrang biglaan na naman. Parang last year, yung first time ko din sa Gallera, sobrang biglaan lang din. Yung tipong nagkayayaan, then, ayun, nasa Gallera na kamil. Hehe.

So everything worked out, napagpaalam ko na si Jem, okay na yung kapatid ko, okay na kami, so we are all set. However, di makukumpleto ang trip kung walang camera. Kaso, my camera is with Jhen. So we have to go to work pa to get my camera to her. I texted Raech na dadaan kami sa work so she and the rest of the gang can meet Jay na. Parang hitting two birds with one stone lang. When we got there at work, unfortunately, Raech was the only one to meet Jay and my sister. KG was still on the call and can't go down, while Kate was surprised by her boyfriend and had to leave immediately. After, we left na as Jem was waiting in Manila na for us.

Hassle ang travel to Manila, we had no choice but to ride a non-aircon bus dahil wala nang available na aircon. Since we are time-constrained, pinatulan na namin. Pagbaba sa Dela Rosa, nag-cab na lang kami. Pagdating sa 7-Eleven, wala pa pala ang Jem. Nauna pa kami. Saya di ba. Kaya namili na lang kami nang mga baon while waiting for her. Kaya saktong pagdating niya, umalis na din agad kami.

Nagmadali na kami at baka late na kami dumating doon. Sayang naman ang overnight escapade kung mabibitin lang kami. Kaya sakay agad kami nang bus. Sa kamamadali, mali pa yung bus na nasakyan namin. We got the bus na iikot pa sa madaming bayan nang Batangas. It was my fault. Akala ko, basta may sign na Batangas Pier, yun na yun. Di pala. Hehe. But anyway, it was okay na din kasi since wala pang tulog si Jem, she had the chance to get some rest on the bus. Kami naman ni Jay, sanay kami sa mga long travel kaya walang problema sa amin. Nakapagbonding pa kami. Kuwentuhan to the max ulit. Pagdating sa Pier, as usual, ang mga namumutakteng mga lalake na hihigitin ka talagang bumili sa kanila nang boat ride to Gallera. Binantayan ko na si Jay at baka makipag-away at ayaw niya nang mga ganun, same with my sister na baka ma-overwhelm sa kakulitan nang mga bubuyog. Hehe. It was Jay and my sister's first time to Gallera, by the way.

Things have changed na nga sa Pier as was mentioned to me by Jem before. Iba na yung set-up. We chose a big boat for our sea travel dahil takot nga ako sa alon. Hehe. Sakto yung nakuha naming boat trip dahil paalis na. Dere-deretso lang kami at sakay agad, then left the Pier. And to my surprise, the trip was so smooth na di ako nakaramdam nang alon. Sobrang saya ko. Eventhough kasama ko naman si Jay, na expert sa paglangoy, may konting fear pa din, but thank god, it was a smooth sailing.

Pagbaba, I immediately welcomed Jay and my sister. Hehe. Medyo madami nang tao, but knowing Gallera, di pa yun ang pinaka-madami. Medyo may konting pagbabago nga rin ang gallera, but still, the same island na puno nang taong gustong magbakasyon. Pagsundo sa amin nung kinuha naming room, nag-init yung ulo ko dahil dinadala kami sa malayong lugar at hindi sa beach front. I stopped and asked the guide to cancel na lang as I don't want to stay overnight sa Gallera na mauubos lang ang oras namin sa pagpunta sa beach sa layo nang titirhan namin. Di ko na pinansin kung masisira ako sa kausap ko, ang inisip ko na lang, how can we, especially the people na first time sa Gallera, enjoy the overnight escapade. I booked another room na beach front lang kahit mas mahal. Feeling ko kasi, inunder estimate nung kausap ko ang kakayanan kong magbayad. Umiral tuloy yung pride ko. Shet! Hinayaan ko nang mag-away away yung mga taong nagbebenta nang rooms, basta I needed one at that time dahil pagod na din ako. Pagkapasok sa room, we immediately settled in.

Gusto ko sanang magpahinga muna, but knowing Jay, basta nakakita nang dagat at buhangin yun, gusto agad lumusong. Nag-aya agad bumili nang board short at magsiswim na daw. Since naging parang biglaan yung lakad kahit naplano na ahead, walang dalang gamit si Jay dahil siya na nga ang nag-cancel. So nanghiram lang siya nang mga gamit sa akin at yung iba, bumili na lang kami. Pinabihis na rin namin sina Jem at Grace para maligo na. And here are some of our kulet pics:

Pagkatapos naming magbabad sa tubig, as in literally babad talaga, nagbihis na kami at gutom na kami. It's time for us to have our dinner. Ang sarap maligo, lalo na kasama si Jay. We stayed at the boat, na nakababad lang, dahil nauna nang umahon yung mga babae. Pinahiga lang ako ni Jay sa lap niya at hindi siya nahiya kahit madaming nakakakita. Sweet talaga. Pinagmamasdan lang namin ang mga tao, and how he compares Gallera to Boracay. It was a great and well spent summer night with him. So, we looked for a place for us to eat na nga at gutom na kaming lahat. Inuna namin ang ligo kahit lahat kami, wala pang lunch, lalo na si Jem at Grace na wala pa ding Breakfast.

Pagkakain, since sobrang napagod kaming dalawa sa kakalangoy, inantok na kami at nauna nang natulog. Hinayaan na namin yung dalawang babae na magenjoy nang gabi. Nakatulog din agad kami. Hanggang sa nabulabog na lang kami nang bandang alas-tres nang umuwi sila na medyo lasing at si Jem ay nagwawala na. Naghanap pa kami nang Kape at gustong painumin ni Jay nang mabawasan ang kalasingan. Pero the effort, di din pinansin, so hinayaan na lang naming matulog. Kami naman, since umaga na din, nag-ayos na kami and decided to take a swim again. But before leaving, nag-igib pa nang water si Jay for the girls once they wake up dahil nagka problem sa water system nung hotel. Sipag talaga.

We looked for a spot na di masyado crowded. Hassle maligo pag siksikan eh. Kahit dalawa lang kami, at bagsak pa yung kasama namin sa kama, inenjoy namin at ligo to the max, with photo sessions on the side. Hehe. Di pa din nabawasan yung kalambingan nang asawa ko. Akala ko nung gabi lang siya maglalambing in public dahil medyo madilim. But no, he still showed his affection to me even there were eyes who are staring under the sun. Sweet talaga. Nang tinamad na akong maligo, nagpamasahe na lang ako, habang nasa tabi ko lang siya, binibilad ang maganda niyang katawan at nakabantay sa akin. Hehe.

Pagkatapos, bumalik na kami sa room at umalis na daw si Jem. She has a party to attend to that's why she has to leave early. Binalikan namin ang kapatid ko. Since gising naman na pala siya pagdating namin, Jay and I decided to take a bath na and rest for a few minutes.

Pero pagkaligo, mukhang nahawa na si Jay sa pagka-adik sa camera, photo session siya mag-isa, being vain again with his physique. Hay!!! Hehe. Ako, kinukulit ko lang siya. Hehe.

Bago pa mag 11:30am, nagcheck-out na kami so we can have our lunch bago pa yung 12:30pm boat trip namin. Since hindi naman ako masyado gutom, yung dalawa lang ang kumain nang talagang kain. Ako, pacute lang sa chicken sandwhich at pineapple shake. Sarap.

Then we left na with Jay and Grace's first gallera adventure in their hearts. All in all, we enjoyed the trip. Although, overnight lang siya, hindi namin naramdaman na saglit lang kami. It was just enough and we feel that we were able to do things that we want to do on that trip. For me, nagsawa na ako sa Gallera and I don't think I'll be back pa. Jay didn't like it that much din and didn't get another reason to come back. Although he enjoyed because of who he was with, it was the place I guess. So, for another destination for me and Jay...

It's really tough to beat this island...

I was in a meeting when Jay texted me asking what time daw labas ko. I was curious about the question because I know, he knows my shift. And for the first time, he asked me about it. I wondered why he had to ask that. But I just replied. And then asked him kung matutuloy siya on that night para sumakay nang barko papunta dito sa Manila. That's what he told me, na tuesday night ang alis niya sa CDO, and by thursday, andito na siya sa Manila. He answered that tuloy siya.

And then, after that reply, he then asked me kung magkikita ba kami today. Lalo akong napaisip. Paano kami magkikita eh wala pa naman siya dito. Doon na ako nagtaka. Tinawagan ko agad siya. When he answered, I heard a noisy background and it sounded like it was an airport noise. And guess what, nasa airport na nga siya. He was planning to surprise me pala but he asked a wrong question kaya nahuli ko din siya. And he just laughed about it. It was sweet though to surprise me kahit nabulilyaso. Hehe.

This is it. Jay will finally be here in an hour. Gusto niyang magkita kami pagdating niya as he wants me to be the first person that he's gonna be with pagdating niya dito. He planned to pick me up at work paghatid niya nang gamit sa baclaran when he arrives. Although alam kong may konting lagnat siya at pagod sa biyahe, I wanted to see him na din kaya pumayag ako. It was sweet of him to say those things and to do such effort.

Pagdating niya sa Northgate to pick me up, it was a romantic moment for me. To see him again, and for him to know where I work, and to spend his time with me on the day he arrived here, it was a magical feeling. Although walang scene but inside of me was a moment I cannot forget. We then went to festival Mall to have our lunch together.

We had our lunch at Serye dahil pihikan sa pagkain si Jay. Madaming bawal. We went to Pizza factory first pero wala siyang nagustuhang food kaya we transfer. As always, food is great at Serye especially their BBQs. After our lunch, we stralled muna pampatunaw nang kinain and checked some new clothes sa F&H, Oxygen, and Solo. He wanted to buy a new shirt but we weren't able to find a good shirt for him.

We then decided to watch a movie since it was still ear. We chose Forbidden Kingdom dahil mahilig sa action movie si Jay. Although I'm not a fan of action movies, I enjoyed it lalo na kay Jackie Chan who is always encorporating humor in his movies. Maganda actually yung movie at hindi lang siya puro asian action scenes. Namawis nga yung kamay ko dahil hindi binitawan ni Jay the whole time we were watching. Humihigpit ang hawak kapag action scenes na. Hehe.

After manood, we went to Watsons para bumili nang mga toiletries niya. At that time, antok na ako at galing pa akong work at wala pa masyadong tulog. Pero siyempre, I won't waste the chance to be with him kaya balewala ang pagod at antok pag kasama mo ang mahal mo. Pero siyempre, since alam niyang may pasok pa uli ako, after buying his stuff, hinatid na niya ako sa sakayan at umuwi na kami pareho. Pagdating ko nang house, bulagta na agad ako sa kama at nagtext na lang ako nang goodnight.

It was a great day for us. I love being with him. It always feels good when I'm beside him. I feel a different person pag kasama ko siya. I turn into a child feeling safe and secured whenever he is around. He's always been a comfort to me, making me feel so good about life. Till we see each other again on friday as we hit the road and sail to the island of Puerto Gallera....

The song itself is currently number one in my head... Right next to Usher's new song Love In This Club... But when I saw the video I knewwwwwwww it was going to be a classic. I can't even hate on Jordin being on whats mines 'coz she definitely did her thing.

Check out their cool video. They are currently #3 at Myx International Top Ten as of last week. Hope they get the #1 spot. The song/video was very impactful. See/Hear for yourself...

This coming friday, once Jay arrives here in Manila, we will go and have our time together in Puerto Gallera. Another summer adventure for us before we hit the island of Palawan in end of May. The "travellers" are set again to hit the road for another escapade.

I am excited though because it will be another well spent time with Jay. We both love the beach and this excites us everytime we plan to hit one. I can't wait for that day to come so him and I could be together again. Hazel, Kate and her boyfriend will join us on Saturday so it would be more fun with friends on the side.

Wishing for a fun, fun, fun gallera adventure for us. Go! Go! Go!

Finally, after waiting for four months for his transfer to Manila, it is now gonna happen in the next coming days. He is now set to conquer the city and to be close to me. I can't wait to be with him. This is what all I've asked for.

It's mixed emotions dahil pareho kaming madaming iniisip about his transfer here. Ako, iniisip ko yung safety niya dahil hindi naman siya taga dito, baka mamaya may magtake advantage sa kanya, or manloko. Iniisip ko din yung culture transition. Yung pace nang buhay sa manila compare sa Mindanao. Somehow, iniisip ko din na mas madaming temptation dito na makakaharap niya. Iniisip ko yung place na titirhan niya. All of these on how he will survive and be the best person for this new chapter in his life.

But again, I know him. He is a survivor. He is a strong person. He has been through a lot and I know he will be able to face all the challenges here. I hope that he can adjust quickly and makasabay sa agos nang buhay sa Manila. And lastly, I hope he can resist all the temptation that lies within the metropolis. I trust him. And I know he will not ruin that trust I gave him.

Now, it's gonna be easier for us na maglakwatsa at magpunta kung saan saan dahil andito na siya. We will have more quality time and more chance to get to know each other. I can say now that we can strengthen more our relationship dahil mas malapit na kami sa isa't isa. Pwede na kaming madalas magkita. I am excited. I am happy about this. Thank God He has finally answered my prayer. Welcome to Manila Jay!!!!

My dog is growing so fast. Parang kailan lang, ang liit liit pa niya. He has grown a lot and naging sobrang kulit and playful. Not only that, sobrang takaw din. Favorite past time na siya nang mga tao sa house. Everyone is taking care of him. Spoiled!!!

Sobrang kulit ni mommy to have us bring Thokie sa clinic for his anti-rabbies injection. He wants to have the paper of the dog and to know his exact birth. Since I bought him paperless, I don't know exactly when is his birthday. So I asked Ka-ye how old Thokie is, and she told me that he's 4 months old already. Wow! 4 months na siya!!! (So December yun, parang after namin magkita ni Jay sa Mindanao. Hehe. Ito na yung baby namin. Ang galing. Sakto!!!)

So the next day when I slept at Jem's house at doon kami nagovernight, I called my sister to bring Thokie at sunduin ako sa SM Southmall para dalhin namin siya sa Animal House sa Festival Mall. Pagdating doon, Thokie was just behave while seeing other cute dogs being groomed and washed. My dog is ready for his next set of shots.

I am so proud of Thokie. He did not even cried nang inenjectionan na siya. I wasn't able to look at ako ang nasasaktan for him. Kung ako yun, hay, baka hinimatay na naman ako. Hehe. The doctor asked us to return after 2 weeks for another set of shots para macomplete na. Hay, ang gastos nang aso ko ha. Naka 1 thousand plus na naman ako. At meron na naman next week. Anyways, it's all worth it. Thokie is such a treat to me and my family.

To our next clinic visit....

Ang usapan, sasamahan ako ni Jem sa Manila para maghanap nang apartment ni Jay. Since I have work nang saturday at 11am pa labas ko, after shift, magkikita na kami. However, things have changed dahil sobrang napagod ako sa work. So I decided to go home and take a shower first. Kaya lang, pag-uwi ko at pagpasok nang room, nakita ko ang bed ko at parang nagsasabing, "Halika, humiga ka sa akin...". Ayun, humiga nga ako, and guess what, nakatulog ako.

Mga 4pm, ginising ako ni mommy dahil may bisita daw ako. Inisip ko agad kung sino. Nung sumilip ako sa bintana, si Jem at si Onica, nasa gate namin!!! Waaah. Balikwas ako. Sinundo ako nang mga prinsesita. Hala. Di talaga makatiis. Gusto talagang umalis. Gusto na naman magpichuran.

Finally, after preparing everything for this project, it has been officially launched at our site. This has made me very busy lately as I was making sure that everything's gonna work well. From preparing the documents, to working with workforce for the schedule, I have envisioned this and I want to make it happen.

I now have launched the Champions League of Gallup at work. A team composed of different Gallup champions from different team from different product areas. This project has been supported by my Senior Leader and his effort to make this a reality was overwhelming.

My work is really making a lot of changes in me. I've been very passionate to my job and hopefully, it pays off in the future. I love my work. I love my team. I love my boss. I love my new project. I LOVE WACHOVIA!!!
